Can I ask for content that is not scientific or nature related?

We have been approached for content that does not typically cover what we focus on, however we are willing to work with people on a case-by-case basis. We are not website builders or general graphic designers and specialize in the niche field of science and nature, however, we have been approached for content because someone has liked our illustration styles and would like content with a similar style. We have no problem with this and are typically willing to work with people to meet their goals if it is content we are confident we can deliver with satisfaction.

Are you willing to work with my budget?

We can break down all services into understandable fees depending on length of time it takes to make the content and how the content is used. We are willing to work with most budgets, or offer simplified content for the given price-point. We are willing to offer payment plans as well if needed. We often work with non-profits and small businesses that don’t have large budgets, and understand what it’s like to want to look professional with limited funds.

Are you willing to make privatized content that is not publicized?

Of course. Many of the projects we have delivered have been for private clients that wish for their research or content information to be kept private until a specified date or indefinitely. We understand the nature of scientific images use is variable and are always willing to sign and NDA if needed. We prefer to list images and content to our social media or portfolio but we will abide by the wishes of the client on publicity of the content made for them.

Can I buy content outright with full rights?

We do not like to get mixed with royalties, and would prefer this method of payment. We offer full rights of the image including products made with the image used with an additional fee. Examples include coloring pages, patterns, and apparel designs. Just note that depending on how the image is intended to be used will change the price point.

What materials do I need to provide for a project?

Reasonably, if your work involves specific items that don’t have reference images online we would need reference material given. Examples often include new research devices. General reference material is preferred so that we know what kinds of graphics your are leaning towards.

What if the subject is very complicated?

Ash, our ex-lab rat has a general scientific background and is willing to work with you on making sure your work is comprehensive and understandable. We have worked in various fields of in depth work including neuroscience, physics, engineering and chemistry. As long as we have a clear line of communication with the client and the client gives us feedback, there should not be any issues.
